| 2 cups cooked mashed squash | 1/4 cup sugar |
| 1/2 cup mayonnaise | 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
| 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or cracker crumbs such as Ritz | 1/2 cup chopped onion |
| 1 egg beaten |
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Stir all the above together and put into a 1 1/2 quart casserole
Topping| 1/2 cup cracker crumbs | 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), melted |
| 1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Top with topping.
Bake 40 minutes.
